(Chatsworth, CA) Readers of Porthole Cruise Magazine have voted AMAWATERWAYS “Best River Cruise” in its 11th Annual 2009 Readers' Choice Awards survey. The awards are based on thousands of entries from the magazine’s readers who vote online and via paper ballots. Porthole Cruise Magazine is one of the most highly respected travel publications geared to the cruise and destination traveler.

“With river cruising becoming more and more popular among passengers, AMAWATERWAYS is a great choice for travelers,” said Bill Panoff, publisher and editor-in-chief of Porthole Cruise Magazine. “With its ever-growing fleet of luxurious ships and a wealth of great itineraries, “AMA” is perfect for exploring the world’s great rivers.”

“We are very grateful to receive this recognition from the readers of Porthole Cruise Magazine, particularly because they are savvy travelers with formidable interest in cruising,” said Rudi Schreiner, AMAWATERWAYS President.
